The project consists in designing and executing three new apartment buildings in Gockhausen and was designed by MOKA Architekten from Zurich.
The buildings open up to natural illumination and views that provide the green area, away from the road traffic noise. Thanks to the horizontal stratification of the buildings and the cantilevered balconies, it seems that the buildings float above the green area from the valley side.
The volumes are clearly legible and simply, with a size of urban villa, each building have three apartments per floor and two penthouses around a central staircase, in total 24 apartments with the biggest size and best possible distribution. The car entrance is by the existing north-west access directly from road via ramp. The underground parking level counts with 41 parking spaces and connects the three buildings.
